Who Am I?Sep 2025
A project for the course Demons in Illustration, exploring challenges I wanted to focus on in my practice. I chose to work on drawing large scenes with many characters and limited props. The result is a simple game for newspapers: each page presents a scene with a different theme, accompanied by questions on the side and names and faces of the characters along the bottom. The player matches characters to actions by answering “Who am I?”The illustrations are created entirely in black ink, relying solely on variations of line, shape, and texture to convey richness, diversity, and depth. The challenge was both technical — making a visually engaging scene with minimal elements — and conceptual, designing a narrative where almost the entire page is composed of characters interacting within the space.
