OPENAI BADGESNov 2024
A set of five progress badges — Rookie, Apprentice, Challenger, Expert, and Master — designed for ChatGPT as part of an assignment to create badges for an existing digital brand. The visual language follows OpenAI’s design guidelines, adapting the brand’s color palette and graphic structure to a badge system.The design combines the clarity and formality of the brand with a more approachable, playful tone, without losing the clarity of the brand’s identity. The color progression moves from single RGB colors in the first three badges, to all three colors combined in the fourth, and a gradient in the final badge. Each badge also reflects a different stage of the user’s relationship with ChatGPT, from an initial, simple interaction to a more collaborative and shared mode of thinking.
